Among all the road works machinery equipment, the paver finisher is without any doubt the most impressive machine. This is an effective mobile control unit platform: a paver which works together with a truck that contains the '"asphalt". The mission of the truck is to empty its own load in the paver tank. The paver driver, also called "the adjuster", has the difficult task of monitoring the axis of the road and settling the adjustment table in order to maintain constant width and thickness, while keeping a steady speed. The superintendent of the work usually assists the driver in this difficult task, which requires discipline and concentration. These road works machines have different sizes according to the type of use they have intended for. For sidewalks, parking lots and bike paths, smaller models are more efficient. The bigger models are mainly used for larger work such as the creation of roads and highways. Pavers have a ground speed that varies from 600 tons of asphalt laid per hour to more than 1,100 tons per hour.
